TechBench puts everything a technician reaches for on a diagnosis in one place: the vehicle, the codes, the bulletins, the recalls, the test plan and the fix. Identify the car once and it follows you through the whole job. Every case keeps a record of what was tested, what was ruled out, what fixed it and how you proved it, so the next tech doesn't start from zero. Manufacturer information is always labeled as manufacturer information, and nothing TechBench shows you is ever passed off as an OEM procedure.
How a job flows
Identify
Decode a VIN or enter year, make and model. TechBench catches a mistyped VIN and won't let you file the same car twice.
Diagnose
Log the complaint, symptoms and codes, build your test plan, and record findings as observed, suspected, ruled out or confirmed.
Look it up
Manufacturer service bulletins and live recalls matched to the vehicle in front of you, plus one-tap buttons that open your shop's own ALLDATA, Mitchell or factory manual login.
Fix and prove it
Record the repair and how you verified it, whether that's a road test, a rescan or a re-checked measurement. A failed test stays on the record.
Share what worked
When a case is resolved with a verified fix, TechBench drafts a write-up of it. Your shop reviews and edits it before it's shared with other shops, and it's always labeled as AI-written and technician-verified.
What you get
- One workspace per shop, with invite-only accounts and roles. Owners, service managers and shop foremen sign off on what gets shared; technicians do the work.
- Every entry on a case shows who did it and when.
- Field-proven fixes from other shops, each one checked so it never cites a bulletin number that wasn't in the original case.
- Your manual subscriptions stay yours. TechBench never stores your logins or copies manual pages.
- Built for the bay: big touch targets for gloved hands, a layout made for iPad, and light or dark mode.
An iPad or any modern web browser, and an invite from your shop.
